In Strickland is a social media coordinator at GBH, creating and curating content for the organization's social media channels with the aim of both fostering community and promoting GBH's educational resources. She has been posting on the account since September 2023.
The World
In Strickland's role as a social media coordinator at GBH, she also manages turning stories published by PRX's The World into social media posts. They have been posting on the account since March of 2023.
NOVA PBS
During her time at GBH, Gabel Strickland managed and produced content the NOVA PBS brand accounts, including Facebook, X, Instagram, Reddit, and YouTube. She worked on audio-visual content and coordinated a number of live initiatives (including livestreams and AMAs).
Beacon Press
Strickland revamped Beacon Press's TikTok presence, while also curating posts for their blog and other social media channels. Strickland managed these accounts between January 2023 and May 2023.
The Berkeley Beacon
Strickland worked at The Berkeley Beacon turning their published stories into Instagram posts. She was posting on the Beacon's accounts between Oct 2022 and Feb 2023.
ENSPIRE Magazine
From November 2022 to October 2023, Strickland served as social media manager of ENSPIRE Magazine. She revamped the publication's social media channels, establishing a brand look and creating content that reflected stories publsiehd on the website. Strickland also managed a team of social media interns.
